A Little Bit About the Rubbermaid Reveal Mop
Spray mop's have become all the rage, they are quick and easy to use; though the price tag that comes with the costly cleaning solutions and pad's are not as popular with consumers. Rubbermaid has come up with a solution with the new Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop. The Rubbermaid Reveal offers a cost effective solution to the "other" spray mops. Some of the fantastic features include a no batteries required spray trigger ( that sprays covering a wider area than other spray mops,) washable microfiber pads (cleaning more efficiently and super absorbent), and refillable cleaning solution bottles. All of this for a one time purchase price (additional / replacement pads and bottles are available for purchase separately ). I have used the "other" brands for years now, and was excited to break free of the money pit and try the New Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop!
My Experience
I was so excited at the idea of the new Rubbermaid Reveal mop, and even more excited and impressed when it arrived ( I enjoy a clean house...what can I say;). Upon seeing the Rubbermaid Reveal Mop in person I was aware of two thing's that the picture's do not portray 1. The Mops base is super wide ( a couple inches wider than other spray mops) and 2. The pads are super absorbent and plush (microfiber) allowing you to clean faster, and really pick up the dirt and solution that your spraying down. There are no batteries required with this mop, and you can either make your own solution's, or add a couple teaspoons of your favorite cleaner mixed with water to the refillable bottles, and your set! No more trips to the store for the expensive solution and pads! I would use three or four each and every time I cleaned the floors (how costly is that?!). They got dirty so quickly and only absorb so much.....so instead of cleaning I felt like I was just pushing the dirt around.
I can go from the kitchen (tile)floors, to the wood floors, and change pads to do the bathroom . Cleaning swiftly and effectively! Before it was a task that could monopolize a chunk of time each day, and who really wants to sacrifice their day cleaning?
If it's possible to be in love with a mop...I am in total LOVE with the Rubbermaid Reveal! As always Rubbermaid has the consumer in mind with the construction of their products something that is rare these days, but very appreciated by this mom ;)
